"Our boat has been insured with Maggie Dutton State farm since April of 2023. On July 8,2024 it was struck by lightning at Brunswick Landing Marina. My neighbors that day quickly accessed that the boat was not physically damaged. I flew down the next day to do an initial assessment. I quickly determined that all the systems affected were electrical in nature and also was more than the deductible. Terri Shott quickly got a claim going and I was contacted right away by a State Farm claims adjuster (Stephen Baldwin). It was a complicated claim as it took several weeks to pull the initial estimates together. Terri was extremely helpful with getting the required information to Stephen. Once the estimates were submitted the checks were issued within days. Terri even made changes so the checks would be sent to the marina. We had several smaller claims as so more stuff was found but they were processed very quickly. I would highly recommend Maggie and her team for boat insurance needs in the Golden Isles are."
